About the company
Qolortech is a producer and seller of additive and pigment masterbatches, located at Vaassen in The Netherlands.
The company was founded in 1979 as a trading company for pigments and preparation. It expanded throughout the years with the construction of a second production hall and a central warehouse for raw materials and finished products in 1994, a third production hall in 2004, and a packaging hall and a new warehouse for storage of finished products in bulk silos in 2019. Qolortech was then merged with the chemical specialist Budenheim in 2020.
Qolortech can currently boast a production capacity of 20,000 tonnes, positioning itself among the top ten Masterbatch companies in Europe.
Sustainable entrepreneurship and social involvement are Qolortech's top priorities, being the company committed to taking responsibility for the environment, producing sustainability, and focusing on circular entrepreneurship, particularly on the reusability and recyclability of materials. Corporate Social Responsibility is a central part of Qolortech's mission, both in its internal business operations and in the context of the relationship with suppliers and clients: since 1 January 2014, QolorTech only uses green energy that is sustainably generated by wind, water, and solar energy; furthermore, to facilitate the recycling of plastics, the company is committed to devising solutions for making plastic products more detectable.
Qolortech also takes part in several social projects, being actively involved in educational initiatives with schools and supporting social and cultural events.
