EuMBC will be present at the Masterbatch 2023 Conference in Cologne !

Our Technical Manager, Norberto Fernandez Soriano, will represent EuMBC at the 34th edition of AMI's Masterbatch 2023 Conference that is taking place at the Pullman Cologne in Cologne, Germany, on 18-20 April 2023.
He will present an entire session, entitled “The case of titanium dioxide and scanning regulatory changes” on the second day, Wednesday 19th April, starting at 11.20 CET.
Indeed, this topic is of high importance as the classification of certain forms of titanium dioxide (TiO2) are suspected carcinogens by inhalation. Eventually, on November 2022, the EU Court of Justice has annulled the European Commission delegated regulation of 2019, which labelled titanium dioxide (TiO2) as a carcinogenic substance by inhalation in certain powder forms. An excursus of the work done by ECHA, stakeholders and the last word on the matter by the European Court of Justice closes the matter together with the importance of being ahead of similar initiatives when it comes to masterbatch composition.
